Three weeks before their memorable WrestleMania XIX main event, Kurt Angle pinned Brock Lesnar on an episode of SmackDown in March 2003.

Just like four months earlier at Survivor Series, Lesnar’s second pinfall loss wasn’t a clean one, with Kurt requiring help from Team Angle (Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin), as well as from his lookalike brother, Eric.

After chasing Haas and Benjamin up the ramp, Lesnar returned to the ring and was rolled up for a quick 1-2-3 by Angle – only the man who pinned him was actually Kurt, who had craftily swapped places with Eric while the referee wasn’t looking.

Kurt also pinned Lesnar on two more occasions during their 60-minute Iron Man match on SmackDown in September 2003. However, as Lesnar won 5-4 overall, he didn’t officially lose via pinfall.
