In recent weeks, WWE has been featuring Aleister Black in backstage video segments during which the former NXT Champion has been challenging members of the WWE locker room to a fight. It appears a mystery opponent has answered Black's challenge with a knock on Black's door, and fans might find out who will challenge Black at the Extreme Rules PPV next week.
Should Black face a rumoured Buddy Murphy, it would be interesting to see Black pick up a win over the former Cruiserweight Champion, and then unleash his inner heel on the WWE Universe.
Aleister Black made his WWE main roster debut shortly after WrestleMania 35 and had a mostly forgettable run in a tag team alongside Ricochet. With Ricochet now working as a Champion babyface on the Raw brand, it would be great to see a heel side of Aleister Black for the first time in WWE.
