#3 Shinsuke Nakamura turns heel on AJ Styles
Winning the Royal Rumble was the career highlight for Shinsuke Nakamura so far and it seemed to anoint him the next WWE champion come WrestleMania, particularly as the idea of a dream match between he and AJ Styles built up an air of respect and admiration between the two.
It all seemed so easy to predict: Nakamura would win the title, they would shake hands, and Styles would potentially go over to Raw as a trade while SmackDown would have a new champion to reign for a little while.

However, The Phenomenal One was able to retain his championship with a Styles Clash, leading to a frustrated Nakamura nailing him with a low-blow out of spite.
This was a shock in multiple ways, to say the least, as it changes the landscape of the main event scene of SmackDown considerably.
Perhaps Styles stays on the blue brand. Maybe Nakamura moves over to Raw. Could there be a title change happening at the Greatest Royal Rumble rather than at WrestleMania? How is Nakamura going to handle this shift in character now that he's heel for the first time in WWE?
Instead of just wondering who would challenge a babyface Nakamura for the belt next, this swerve to keep the championship on Styles will be absolutely huge in dictating the future of SmackDown's title picture.
