Main Event Jey Uso defeated Rey Mysterio and Finn Balor in a Triple Threat Match to qualify for the 2024 Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match. The 38-year-old is the first superstar to qualify for the Men's MITB Ladder Match.

The YEET Master has been vocal about his intentions to become Mr. Money in the Bank this summer. The gimmick match will be staged at the titular Premium Live Event in Ontario, Canada, on July 6, 2024. Unfortunately, Jey's past could come back to haunt him, as a six-foot-two-inch tall star could cost him the opportunity to win the MITB briefcase. The star in question is Jacob Fatu.

You see, The Bloodline does not forget, and Solo Sikoa has definitely not forgotten the past deeds of Jey Uso. Not only did The YEET Master betray Roman Reigns, but he also laid hands on The Enforcer. The upcoming PLE could see Jacob Fatu prevent Main Event Jey Uso from becoming Mr. MITB at the behest of Solo Sikoa.

Reportedly, there were concerns that Fatu might overshadow Solo Sikoa following his arrival on WWE TV. However, if Jacob swears allegiance to the new Tribal Chief, it might ensure that Sikoa's growing dominance stays intact. Furthermore, Fatu costing Jey Uso would pave the way for an eventual reunion of The Usos and Roman Reigns.

Jey Uso gives his opinion about the Wyatt Sicks' debut on WWE RAW

The main event of the June 17, 2024, episode of Monday Night RAW saw Jey Uso lock horns with Rey Mysterio and Finn Balor in a Triple Threat Match for a spot in the upcoming Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match. After Jey secured the victory, the fireflies took over the arena, and fans cheered him on. The main event followed the debut of Uncle Howdy with his new faction, Wyatt Sicks.

Considering Uso activated the fireflies on WWE RAW, one may expect a rift between Wyatt Sicks and The YEET Master about the same. However, the 38-year-old clarified during an exclusive interview with Cathy Kelley on RAW Talk that he had no problem relinquishing the fireflies to the faction.

"I don't want no smoke [SIC] with them [Wyatt Sicks]. I mean, for all I care, they can have the fireflies back because I want no problem with them. But I'm very happy; I did activate the fireflies in this thing, shout-out to my boy, still my boy, still gonna show love to Bray Wyatt. But his family is here now; that means I gotta go," he said.

It will be interesting to see if Uncle Howdy and Wyatt Sicks target Main Event Jey in the coming weeks.
