We are now less than 24 hours away from WWE RAW's debut on Netflix, as the special event is set to air live on January 6, 2025. The WWE Universe is thrilled to see what will unfold at this mega event, with a stacked lineup already announced.
In this article, we will make six last-minute predictions for the RAW premiere on Netflix.
#6. Stone Cold Steve Austin could return to the red brand
Stone Cold Steve Austin is indeed one of the biggest names in WWE history. His presence at the RAW premiere on Netflix will surely ignite a massive pop from the crowd.
Recently, WWE used a drone show to display the smoking skull logo of the Texas Rattlesnake while promoting RAW on Netflix. This has sparked speculation among fans that, in addition to John Cena and The Rock, Stone Cold will also be present, making the RAW Netflix night even more monumental.
#5. Hikuleo could debut as Solo Sikoa's new enforcer
Hikuleo has reportedly signed with the Stamford-based promotion, but his debut has yet to take place. WWE is probably planning a big stage for his arrival, and the RAW Netflix premiere show could be the perfect location.
The former NJPW Strong Openweight Champion could debut during the Tribal Combat match, potentially aiding Solo Sikoa in defeating Roman Reigns. Later, the 6 ft 8 in star could be revealed as the newest enforcer for the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief.
#4. Goldberg might return to RAW & confront Gunther
Goldberg and Gunther had a heated altercation at Bad Blood 2024 when The Ring General mocked the iconic star, but Triple H and the officials separated them. However, Goldberg has already hinted that Gunther is his next target.
So it's probable that the veteran could return on the RAW Netflix premiere show and finally confront the Imperium leader. A confrontation like this would set up a World Heavyweight Championship match between the two.
The chances of this are even higher since Gunther doesn't currently have a strong competitor on the red brand.
#3. Alexa Bliss could return to kick out Uncle Howdy from The Wyatt Sicks
The return of Alexa Bliss has been eagerly awaited by fans who want the Goddess to be part of a storyline in the company again. With January 6, 2025, anticipated as one of the biggest nights, Alexa's return during this special event seems realistic. Bliss last appeared on television at Royal Rumble 2023, where she suffered a loss against Bianca Belair.
After the match, Uncle Howdy's voice mocked her defeat against The EST. If WWE decides to involve Alexa in The Wyatt Sicks storyline, a shocking twist could be that Bliss will return and kick Uncle Howdy out of the horror faction.
This move would make sense, as fans had previously seen the Goddess in a horror gimmick when she was paired with the late great Bray Wyatt.
#2. The Judgment Day might finally implode
Over the past few months, the rifts between the Judgment Day members have been visible. Initially, it was between Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor. However, the tension has now shifted to Balor and Liv Morgan.
One of the last-minute predictions for WWE RAW's premiere on Netflix could be that fans might finally witness the end of The Judgment Day. The faction could implode after Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley's title bout if the Women's World Champion loses the title, with Finn accidentally costing her while attempting to aid her.
#1. The Rock might confront Cody Rhodes
The Rock recently confirmed his appearance for the RAW Netflix premiere show, igniting huge excitement among fans. One major belief is that The Great One might interrupt the Tribal Combat match or confront the winner of Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa.
Meanwhile, an unexpected move could be that The People's Champion decides to confront Cody Rhodes. The American Nightmare is still the Undisputed WWE Champion. After WrestleMania 40, The Rock confronted Cody and warned him about taking the Undisputed title from his shoulders.
To plant more seeds for their title bout, WWE might prefer a confrontation between Rock and Rhodes on January 6, 2025.
