#5 Pete Dunne had a 26-month undefeated singles run in WWE
Pete Dunne won his first match in WWE since the United Kingdom Championship Tournament against Mark Andrews on 1st February 2017 on NXT. A few weeks later, Dunne defeated Tyler Bate at NXT TakeOver: Chicago in one of the best matches of the year to win the NXT United Kingdom Championship.
The victory opened the door to one of the longest championship reigns in WWE history. Dunne competed against some of the top Superstars in NXT, including Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, Roderick Strong, and Kyle O’Reilly, and managed to defeat them all.

Even though Dunne lost in tag team matches and multi-men matches, he remained undefeated in televised singles matches until April 2019. Dunne competed against WALTER at WWE NXT TakeOver: New York where he took his first televised singles loss since winning the title.
The loss also marked the end of his phenomenal 685-day NXT UK Championship reign. It was also the first, and only, singles match Dunne lost under the NXT UK banner. The Bruiserweight has had a great run in WWE, and his twenty-six-month undefeated reign in singles competition proves that WWE holds him in high regard.
