Dream Match #7: Abyss vs. Undertaker

Undertaker has never faced Abyss, and possibly never will.

Mark Calloway underwent a long series of gimmick changes during his storied career. But whether he wrestled under a mask as Texas Red, or in fatigues as Commander USA, or in plain black tights as Mean Mark Callous, nothing seemed to stick.

Then one day Vince McMahon called an out of work Calloway and asked him 'Hello, is this the Undertaker?' Calloway replied "Hell yeah, I'm the Undertaker."

And thus one of the most iconic performers of all time was truly born. As Undertaker, Calloway has racked up a storied career that would be the envy of almost anyone.

Chris Park also underwent a number of gimmicks before hitting upon his most celebrated character, Abyss. Seen by many as a blend of Mankind and the Undertaker, Abyss developed a reputation for mayhem and violence all over the globe, but has been most associated with TNA/Impact wrestling.

Fans have clamored for this match for many years, but will it ever happen?

Chances of the match happening: 80-20 against. Chris Park works for WWE, but as a producer backstage. He has officially retired from wrestling. Undertaker is still under a legends contract and is rumored to wrestle once again in an upcoming Saudi Arabia show, but it probably won't be against Abyss. This match just might not ever come together.
