#4 A Career Ending Loss
Many expected Batista vs Triple H at WrestleMania to be a hard-hitting affair that brought back the glory days, but this match was nothing like fans had expected at the show, and it's hard to say this, but this match was somewhat boring.
It lacked that wild energy Triple H and Batista created back in 2005, and that could be down to WWE sticking this match in the middle of the event where fans energy was at an all-time low. Furthermore, this match should have seen Batista coming away with the win, as the former World Champion needed to end his in-ring career with a bang, and by WWE giving Triple H the victory, it robbed Batista of his moment that he was trying to create for the last few years.
#3 Making Drew lose to Reigns
Roman Reigns vs Drew McIntyre was a straight forward and hard-hitting narrative that was set for success on a bloated WrestleMania match card. McIntyre's quick rise to the main event scene was one of the few things WWE got right in 2018, but it was totally shocking to see them throw all their hard work away, as Reigns beat McIntyre in a somewhat disappointing match.
It is hard to bet against a superstar like Roman Reigns in any big match and in this scenario Reigns returned to in-ring action after being sidelined for months with his health issues, but it only took one spear to take McIntyre down, and that was just unbelievable booking from WWE. McIntyre deserved to win this match, as it's not every day you see a superstar of his skill and stature succeed in the WWE, the creative team dropped the ball here big time.
