#2 A Terrible Ending For Angle
When John Cena appeared in his old school gimmick during Elias' segment, fans knew that Kurt Angle's match against Baron Corbin was legitimate. Like most of the matches towards the end of the show, the quality of this retirement match was poor, as it was disappointing to see Kurt Angle's legendary career end in an average match.
While this win will do wonders for Baron Corbin's career, you can't help but feel the ship sail on his main event push a long time ago, as Angle should have got a fitting farewell that would have saw him put on one of the last great performances in his storied career, but we can't have good things in the WWE, so we had to settle for Corbin doing the deed.
#1 Not Creating A Megastar
Kofi Kingston vs Daniel Bryan was one of the most anticipated matches on the WrestleMania match card as the promise of the longtime fan favorite becoming WWE Champion was seemingly unmissable, and to WWE's credit, they gave us a match worth the while.
This was an instant classic, as Bryan and Kofi crafted a truly memorable contest, but after this match was over WWE missed the opportunity to turn a superstar into a megastar. Kofi becoming the WWE Champion was an amazing sight to witness. However, WWE throwing away the opportunity of elevating a certain New Day member was a mistake.
While some may not agree, but this was the perfect time to turn Big E from a midcard star into the main event powerhouse, as Big E joining forces with Vince McMahon to destroy his best friend for the sake of securing his status as the main event player would have been a perfect way to continue this narrative.
