Famed for carrying a skull into the ring and his ability to cast spells on his enemies and opponents alike.
Papa Shango was a creepy Voodoo master, with a black top hat and a skull painted on his face. He arrived in the year 1992, and, sure enough, he would strike fear and concern into the children at ringside with his smoking skull staff and ominous chants. There were other powers, too – he could blackout the arena and set items ablaze.
He feuded with several superstars in the WWE, but one of his most memorable was against the Ultimate Warrior. During this time, Shango used his "powers" to make the Ultimate Warrior "bleed black," a technique he used on other wrestlers as well. After the Warrior defeated him, his career was short-lived and he later reappeared as "The Godfather."
