Rusev is no Johnny-come-lately. He started his pro wrestling journey back in 2008, where he was trained by former WWE stars Gangrel and Rikishi.
In fact, he emigrated from Bulgaria to the US for the express purpose of becoming a pro wrestler. It's all he ever wanted to do, and he does it so very well.
