#5 The NXT swan song for two beloved superstars will be at Takeover
One of the bittersweet reasons why NXT is so much beloved by its audience is the knowledge that every superstar's presence on the show is temporary.
After all, NXT is still officially the 'minor leagues' of WWE, and once a superstar is deemed ready to move up to the main shows of Raw or SmackDown, they leave NXT behind.
A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.
Samoa Joe, Shinsuke Nakamura, Tyler Breeze, The Wyatt Family, and most of all, Asuka, had legendary NXT runs, and are sorely missed on the yellow brand. At Takeover, fans will likely get their final chance to see Ricochet and Aleister Black in an NXT ring as they take on War Machine for the NXT Tag Team titles.
It seems a given that Ricochet and Black will be putting on a breathtaking performance to leave NXT on a high note, and you won't be able to see that at WrestleMania 35.
