#7 James Ellsworth

James Ellsworth came, got conquered, returned on popular demand and ended up living the WWE dream in all its glory.
He feuded with AJ Styles for the WWE Championship, got the best pops and boos, technically won the MITB briefcase, and had one of the first mixed matches in many years. And did we forget to mention how entertaining and downright irritating he was during his time.
His distinctive appearance and that infamous pre-match promo against Braun Strowman made Ellsworth an overnight cult sensation. #AnyManWithTwoHandsHasAFightingChance essentially granted him a WWE contract.
A solid year-long run with the company ended when the entire SmackDown Women's division beat him -- a perfect way to go out for the Chinless Wonder.
Recent cost-cutting was the pivotal reason behind the departure and we're sure he has no qualms about the same. Picture this; Darren Young was in the company for almost 8 years and has no standout moments that come to mind. Ellsworth, on the other hand, has amassed way too many in a short span of time. Sometimes all you have to do is to be weird to get over.
