The Women's Tag Team Titles is more than just another set of belts on an overcrowded roster. It is an opportunity for WWE to rebuild superstars, and a chance for underutilised talent to finally get their shot at the spotlight and it is a major opening for a wrestler to ascend to the main event.

One can't understate the importance for these belts in the women's division, and WWE didn't do that at Elimination Chamber. Six teams went into this match with the hope that they would be called the first ever Women's Tag Team Champions, but only one team could have that right, and it was the favourites, Bayley and Sasha Banks who came out on top at the end.

Many thought that the rumours of WWE pulling a fast one on the fans and having Nia Jax and Tamina win the titles were actually credible enough to happen, but WWE didn't take the cheap route to garner heat for their heels.

As they put these new titles on two of the most accomplished wrestlers in the women's division, and now hopefully their booking will be as good as those titles look.
