#6. Kofi Kingston is the real MVP

A performance that defines a career

When was the last time a superstar losing actually made you tear up? Well, over the years there hasn't been that feeling in many of WWE's matches. Everything nowadays feels manufactured and set up, and while wrestling is scripted, but emotion from fans isn't.

Kofi Kingston losing to Daniel Bryan by a very tiny margin left the WWE Universe angry, sad and more passionate than ever. This was an emotional moment for many fans, as they knew this was an opportunity that came by chance. This was a moment not meant to be, as Kofi would have never got this title shot if Mustafa Ali was not injured, so to be in this match and give that type of performance has to be applauded.

Credit needs to be given to Daniel Bryan as well because those last few minutes between Bryan and Kofi has been the best few minutes of wrestling in recent times. It was soaked in passion and pure emotion which, in turn, produced some of the most genuine wrestling sequences we have seen in years. All that is left to say is it seems like Kofi and Bryan are not done with one another, as another match could be waiting for them down the line.
