#1 The long-overdue heel turn
We admit that this isn't something that WWE subtly told us, but we feel that this is something that we simply can't have this article without talking about. Seth Rollins' long overdue heel turn has finally happened and we couldn't be more excited about it.
The seeds were planted a few weeks ago in the Town Hall meeting and there were rumors that there was a lot of uncertainty over the direction of Rollins' character. Some reports were stating that his heel turn would be similar to Bret Hart in 1997 (without the nationality aspect of it), while some stated that he would be on the line and pushed as a 'tweener.
However, this wasn't a 'tweener moment - it was a full-fledged heel turn. Perhaps we could have seen it coming from the segment where Rollins avoided a confrontation with AoP like a coward and walked out and the moment Owens opened the car door backstage, things took a whole new turn.
Rollins is officially a heel and we predict that he's going to prove why he's still among the best in the world. Expect some great storytelling in the coming weeks and months.
