#4. Cain Velasquez vs Brock Lesnar in WWE may be a real possibility

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter had reported that Cain Velasquez was in talks with both WWE and AEW over a potential role. While he isn't fully done in the Octagon as he still has a few contracted fights, he has mesmerized and surprised pro wrestling fans with his two impressive appearances in AAA.

If you're not aware, Velasquez has now wrestled twice for AAA, wearing a Luchador mask and impressing with his athleticism. If he was to choose between AEW and WWE, he would probably choose WWE because it was Elimination Chamber 2018 that he attended in person that made him determined to try his hand in wrestling.

He was always a fan anyway, but with Heyman spewing a line about "Wannabe tough guys in MMA", it seems as though WWE may have opened the door to a potential match between Lesnar and Velasquez down the road.

For those who think it sounds bizarre, it doesn't. If a name like Velasquez, who is a former UFC Heavyweight Champion, comes in, he will be thrust right into the spotlight - not into NXT.
