#5 Roman Reigns and the bizarre main event of Payback 2020
The Payback 2020 main event wasn't bad. The result was expected, but the way WWE executed it was a bit questionable. 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt made his entrance first for the Payback 2020 main event before being blindsided by Braun Strowman. The match, which ended up going only 12 minutes, featured very little of Roman Reigns.
The Payback 2020 match - a Triple threat No Holds Barred Match for the Universal title was mostly contested between The Fiend and Braun Strowman, who brutalized each other. The ring even broke after The Fiend suplexed Braun Strowman down.
It was around then that Roman Reigns appeared with Paul Heyman, finally signing the contract and picking the two apart with some relatively easy work. Roman Reigns is once again the WWE Universal Champion and he's a heel who made both The Fiend and Braun Strowman look stupid.
It looks like Roman Reigns will, in fact, be the heel Champion going forward. We've waited for this day for a long time.
While the heel turn was fantastic, the fact that Roman Reigns appeared so late in the match was a mistake on WWE's part, especially since he was the main attraction of the Payback 2020 PPV.
