The night of SummerSlam would determine who will hold the Money in the Bank contract. Not to mention, the most opportune time to cash the contract would be later that night once Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns are done with each other.

Although the earlier match would determine who will become Mr. MITB, it doesn’t stop the other person from interfering during the cash in. This makes it a lot more interesting as the loser of the first match wouldn’t want his opponent to become the champion as the night concludes.
