Everybody makes a few enemies, more so if you are a wrestler. Some become successful at others’ expense, some just rub people the wrong way, some have massive egos, some just can’t help but invite hate.
This sometimes leads to bitter verbal barbs aimed at other wrestlers. You can’t help but make a few enemies on your way to the top. But wrFlairers don’t get very vocal unless there really is bad blood between them. While such incidents are not so uncommon these days due to the advent of social media, there is no love lost between these wrestlers. Here are 7 instances of totally unscripted insults.

Johnny Mundo disses Roman Reigns
Johnny Mundo currently wrestles in Lucha Underground, a wrestling promotion featuring amazing luchadors and wrestlers alike. WWE fans might know him as John Morrison, who used to appear alongside Joey Mercury and Melina in the faction MNM. Johnny Mundo is an amazing in-ring worker and his manoeuvers are a treat to watch.

Honorable mention – Brock Lesnar
An absolute beast in the ring, Brock Lesnar is known to ignite crowds at will. You’d think that a guy like him loves to be around people. Well, he doesn’t. Recently, in an interview, Brock Lesnar revealed that contrary to popular belief, the Beast Incarnate doesn’t like to be around people. Even Stone Cold questioned him about this on his podcast, he basically summed it up by saying “that’s just who I am....” One gets the feeling that he was just putting it nicely, we all know how unruly people can get around stars.

In an interview with Fox News Latino – http://latino.foxnews.com/latino/entertainment/2013/03/21/last-guerrero-chavo-guerrero-talks-about-tna-and-his-legendary-wrestling-family/, the nephew of the late Eddie Guerrero had the following to say about John Cena – “If he can’t wrestle, he can’t wrestle.... you can tell who’s making John Cena look good.” The Luchador and member of the illustrious Guerrero family clearly wasn’t impressed with John Cena’s run.
Dave Bautista on Vince McMahon
After Vince McMahon suspended Titus O’Niel for 60 days, TMZ asked Dave Bautista’s opinion on the matter as Titus and Dave are good friends. Bautista said that Titus was just being playful with Mr. McMahon because that’s just the kind of person he is. It may not have happened at the right time, but it didn’t warrant a suspension. Mr. McMahon should have had a mano-e-mano with him. Batista even went to say that Titus got double fu***d as not only was his momentum destroyed, his WrestleMania moment was taken away as well.
Ric Flair on Bret Hart
It’s no secret that Bret Hart and Ric Flar hated each others guts. There really are very few people that actually like Ric Flair despite that fact that he’s one of the greatest wrestlers of his generation. The former Four Horsemen member really held nothing back talking about The Greatest There Was, There Greatest There Is and The Greatest There Ever Will Be:
“I feel sorry for Bret Hart. He is a legend in his own mind. He lives in his own little world. He has the nerve to compare himself to me. Let’s get realistic. If you put Bret Hart in your left hand and me in your right hand…compare the career. Who is Bret Hart?”They’ve apparently made peace now, but just for the sake of it, you can read the entire rant and Bret’s response here – http://prowrestlingstories.com/pro-wrestling-stories/hartvsflair/
Bret Hart on Shawn Michaels
Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels have put on some great matches in the past. That being said, The Montreal Screwjob, where Shawn Michaels applied the Sharpshooter on Bret Hart following which Earl Hebner called for the bell as per Vince McMahons’s orders even though The Hitman hadn’t tapped out really turned things sour and the feud turned sour and no longer remained on-screen.
Naturally, Bret was furious with The Chairman and the Heart Break Kid. The Hitman was quite specific in his choice of words when asked his opinion on Mr.Wrestlemania - “Shawn was a two-faced, lying chickens***, and I’m probably being nice”.
The New Age Outlaws shoot on Triple H
Surprised? The New Age Outlaws were a vital part of DX and appeared alongside Triple on the 1000th Episode of Raw. The two had some really strong words for The Cerebral Assassin in an interview. Billy Gunn even went on the say that he wanted to beat up Triple H, but didn’t want to risk his career has he had kids to feed, but given the opportunity, he’d surely do that. They said that he’s talented, but he rose up at the expense of other wrestlers, he didn’t want share the spotlight, according to them. They even made fun of his mustache. Road Dogg hated him for what he did to him when he was facing drug issues.
