Going back to NXT can make or break a wrestler. When looking at the Women's division- it did not do any wonders for Cameron (who despite improving in the ring was released from her contract). Emma and Eva Marie were, however, brought back to the main roster and heavily featured as a part of the women's division.

Fox's arrival in NXT with a new attire, a new hair-do (perhaps Storm's short silver hair in X-Men) and a locker-room leader gimmick can definitely catch fan attention. Fans would either not take to her or heavily support her, but that all boils down to her performance as a competitor.

Fox has steadily improved in the ring, and fans would actually get to see how she's grown as a wrestler. This might eventually lead her to return to the roster and have high profile feuds with the likes of Sasha Banks and Charlotte.
