There is no way 'Big Match John' is going to leave WWE. The company means a lot to him as expressed by him numerous times in various interviews. However, this is just what many call 'Fantasy Booking', and the first and the only rule of it is anything and everything can happen here.

There would be no bigger wrestler in the industry that has a bigger star value than John Cena. If NJPW ever signs him, then it is a head-on challenge given to the WWE. Moreover, he brings with him a plethora of dream matches like 'John Cena vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi', 'John Cena vs. Kazuchika Okada', and 'John Cena vs. Kenny Omega.'

He even boasts of having some terrific matches with wrestlers who have performed in the NJPW. He has faced AJ Styles numerous times, and Shinsuke Nakamura once.

The smarks have called him many things in the past. But, he has never been labeled as a bad in-ring performer. As long as he ticks that criteria, he is bound to be successful in NJPW.
