Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross became the first two-time WWE Women's Tag Team Champions after claiming the titles against The Kabuki Warriors at WrestleMania 36.

Since then, they've defended their titles quite regularly on WWE TV, managing to fend off The Kabuki Warriors in a rematch, Carmella & Dana Brooke, and The IIconics. Last week on SmackDown, when fans least expected Alexa & Nikki to drop their titles, they lost out to Sasha Banks & Bayley.

Alexa Bliss is absolutely brilliant on the mic and her co-hosting A Moment of Bliss these past weeks with Nikki Cross has resulted in some interesting altercations. However, I'd be lying if I said that they were one of the bigger draws on WWE TV. Well, that's probably more to do with the company's booking of the women's tag division but despite putting on great matches, I don't think there was enough hype regarding Alexa & Nikki going into any weekly WWE show.

I might be wrong here but the ratings part could very well be the reason why the duo did not find a place on the Money in the Bank card either. Anyhoo, Alexa & Nikki could still somehow claw back into the women's tag titles picture, but given that Sasha and Bayley will be appearing on RAW this week, expect The IIconics to be involved as well.
