Superstars like Ricochet and Cedric Alexander have already established themselves as the crowd-favorites and need equally good, high-flying rivals. In this case, Ali would make for a perfect heel and WWE can construct wonderful storylines around his modified gimmick.

A few weeks ago, Ali teased a darker theme via his social media account. He was seen destroying lights and creating pitch-black space which hinted at a possible heel turn.
But as long as he is going ‘hard’ at his job, he will never be a convincing villain. Hence, the creatives must rework on his character and introduce a darker gimmick which will ultimately help Ali in clawing his way up to the top of the roster.
