#5: Austin Aries
Much like Ultimo Dragon, Austin Aries didn't just hold three championships at the same time, but much more than that.
After a pretty underwhelming time in WWE, Aries would leave the company in 2017 and forge another path on the independent scene, calling himself the "Belt Collector."

On the indies, Aries would capture the IPW: UK World Championship, the World Series Wrestling Championship as well as the Defiant World Championship.
Returning to Impact Wrestling on the February 1, 2018 edition of the show, Aries proved why he is considered one of the best TNA stars of all time, capturing the Impact World Championship on his first night back, adding a fourth title to his collection.
That wouldn't be enough for the Belt Collector, who would capture the Impact Grand Championship from Matt Sydal just days later, and would also capture another title on the independent scene, making the self-proclaimed Greatest Man Who Ever Lived a Sextuple Champion, across five different promotions, in three different continents, North America, Europe and Australiasia.
