#4 Lars Sullivan
Sure, Lars Sullivan will benefit massively from not being injured, but there are a few other reasons why the brutish former NXT Superstar could do with shedding the shackles of the past and reinventing himself in 2020.
Sullivan's return has been delayed. He's not expected back in a wrestling ring until sometime after WrestleMania 36. However, the Superstar also needs to overcome the bad reputation he's earned after making a series of homophobic, sexist and racist comments online.
The WWE fined him $100,000 for those comments, but a new controversy has cropped up recently. Toward the end of 2019, an adult entertainment video which appears to show a young Lars Sullivan surfaced online. That has caused many to question his status in WWE and when/how he would return, if he does return at all.
While the comments Sullivan made were clearly unacceptable, he has apologized and we should move on. Also, the adult video stuff doesn't matter, especially when you are aware that he has also struggled with anxiety and mental health issues throughout his main roster run. Ultimately the only thing that Lars Sullivan should be doing in 2020 is wrestling and I hope that we get to see him do just that.
