Okay, first of all, I know Dean Ambrose is in AEW now, but that's not the point. He is a former WWE wrestler, much like Batista, AJ Lee, and Booker T, who are also featured on this list.

Moving on from that, it's fair to say that he has found success in the world of professional wrestling. In WWE, he won the WWE Championship, the WWE Tag Team titles, the United States title, as well as the Intercontinental title.

In AEW, he has won several extremely brutal matches.

But long before all of this, Ambrose came from very humble beginnings. He spent most of his early childhood in public housing in Cincinnati. There, he was left to find ways to amuse himself and grew up in unenviable circumstances.

He had an absent father and used wrestling to escape his grim real life. He dropped out of school at the early age of 16 so that he could be a wrestler and then used the money that he earned from his passion that led him to WWE, to help move his mother to a house of her own.
