Quite possibly the nWo’s biggest enigma, during his time with the group The Disciple didn’t do very much aside from accompanying Hollywood Hogan to the ring. Often seen holding his leader’s championship belt whenever the Hulkster reigned supreme, The Disciple looked cool but seemed to serve little to no purpose.

Already a veteran performer when he joined the nWo, years earlier The Disciple went by the name Brutus Beefcake and was a popular WWE wrestler. However, he took on the role of The Disciple after suffering a life-threatening injury that hut him so badly that his face had to be reconstructed and he couldn’t compete in the ring for years.

In need of another surgery during 2018, the man once known as The Disciple has recently received headlines after starting a crowdsourcing campaign in hopes of paying for it. Also a consistent face at wrestling conventions and known for his relationship with Hulk Hogan, after a public spat that saw them trade barbs they seem to have made up.
