Antonio Cesaro won the US Championship at Summerslam 2012 and his impressive work inside the ring convinced everyone that he would be a big star someday. However, his untimely split with manager Aksana halted his push as Cesaro was still green then and lacked charisma.
Cesaro began losing matches. He was even left off the Wrestlemania 29 card. Cesaro lost his US Championship on the Raw after Wrestlemania to Kofi Kingston. Cesaro then joined Zeb Colter, and the two were soon joined by Jack Swagger.

Cesaro’s in-ring skills continued to impress everyone but his lack of charisma held him back. Currently, Cesaro is one half of the tag team, The Bar, with Sheamus. The team is highly entertaining and both Cesaro and Sheamus work very well together as a team. The Bar is currently on Smackdown Live, trying to find their way into the Tag Titles picture.
If the Bar breaks up in the near future, expect Cesaro to receive a decent push if he stays on Smackdown Live. A world title run however, is out of the question.

Ali Siddiqui
Ali Siddiqui is a listicle and feature writer for Sportskeeda Wrestling since 2018. After completing his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, he decided to write for Sportskeeda Wrestling after learning about it through a friend. He briefly worked for The Sportster as well.
Ali's love for pro wrestling dates back to when Randy Orton won a Battle Royal to become the #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam 2004. His current favorite wrestler is Cody Rhodes because he's the ultimate throwback babyface. He believes Rhodes has the Surfer Sting's passion, Bret Hart's prop-gifting schtick, a catchy theme like Hogan's, and a kid-friendly demeanor akin to John Cena's.
When he is not doing research for his articles on Google or catching up with the latest in pro wrestling, Ali can be found honing his Data Science and AI skills as he strives to get back into tech in the near future.
