After Angelico & Jack Evans had a great bout with Best Friends (Chuckie T and Trent Barreta) in Vegas, the Super Smash Bros arrived, and while the reaction wasn't what AEW desired, they looked incredible in their post-match beatdown. There may be a reason for the lack of response to Stupefied and Evil Uno, as they haven't been allowed in the States for the past few years due to passport issues, and when people did see them last, they were video game inspired babyfaces.
A lot has changed since then, and with a bunch of minions at their control, it seems only a matter of time until the Super Smash Bros are big stars in All Elite Wrestling. Obviously, their name is likely to change now that they are on the big stage for Copyright reasons, but the talent is still there, and if AEW can work out a great gimmick with them (the attack and human throne was a great start), they will be serious players going forward.
