#7 WrestleMania glory for Apollo Crews, but is Big E the real loser?

The Nigerian Drum Match at WrestleMania wasn't a particularly memorable one, but it marks Apollo Crews' first Intercontinental Title victory and his second Championship reign in WWE.
There was no information beforehand, but The Nigerian Drum Fight was essentially a street match with traditional Nigerian props. It was a solid bout, and that isn't what will be remembered. Dabba Kato aka Babatunde's interference was the biggest talking point of this match.
In case you're not familiar with the 6'9" giant who helped Apollo Crews at WrestleMania, he appeared on RAW Underground and is Polish with Nigerian descent.
It seems as though Crews has a new bodyguard. But just because Big E lost, it doesn't mean that he's going down the card. If anything, the Intercontinental Title seemed to be more of a stepping stone for him.
It's no secret that WWE views Big E as a future main event star. The loss to Apollo Crews at WrestleMania simply means that 2021 is the year he will emerge as a legitimate World Title contender.
Given that Money in the Bank is two months away in June, Big E can now be considered a favorite to win it.
