Tonight is a big night for The War Raiders, as they get one more shot at the World Tag Team Championship. Having lost to Finn Balor and JD McDonagh in their first attempt a few weeks ago, the duo of Erik and Ivar will be looking for redemption. They should have an easier outing this time with The Judgment Day banned from ringside. Could they secure a victory with the help of an eight-time champion?

The Judgment Day isn't exactly a fan favorite backstage. Almost every superstar in the locker room is praying for its downfall. But, none more so than eight-time champion Damian Priest, who is willing to destroy his former stable. The Archer of Infamy still has a score to settle with his ex-teammates, and he could kick things off by helping The War Raiders become champions.

While it is true that The Judgment Day is banned from ringside, the same cannot be said for Damian Priest. Still annoyed by Finn Balor's interference in his match against Gunther at Survivor Series: WarGames, Priest could do what the former has done to him twice already.

Whether it's with a distraction or simply rushing in and destroying both Balor and McDonagh, the 42-year-old could potentially hand The War Raiders the title.

Charlotte Flair to return and wrestle a CURRENT CHAMPION?

It would be the perfect case of "getting a taste of one's own medicine," at least for Finn Balor. But, at the end of the day, this is nothing more than speculation, and only time will tell how things unfold.

Priest has won the World Heavyweight, United States, Tag Team, and NXT North American titles in the global juggernaut. He has also held the ROH World TV Championship in the past. After failing to secure his second world championship, he seemingly has his sights set on Balor.

The War Raiders last held tag team gold nearly five years ago

It has been a while since fans have seen The War Raiders as champions. Injuries to both Erik and Ivar prevented the tag team from making an impact in WWE. In fact, their last championship win came nearly five years ago.

In 2019, the tag team made its main roster debut and was rebranded as The Viking Experience. They won the RAW Tag Team Championship in October of that year. It was a historic moment, as they became the first tag team in pro wrestling history to win the tag team gold in WWE, ROH, and New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

As mentioned earlier, injuries have prevented them from being a force to be reckoned with. However, that is all in the past, and they have seemingly reworked their offense in hopes of preventing injuries from happening again. Hopefully, for them, a win tonight can mark their return to dominance.
