#1 WWE Superstar John Cena has been very generous with his time and paychecks

It is no secret that John Cena is one of the most charitable WWE Superstars of all time. The Superstar has granted over 600 wishes for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and his name is now synonymous with the charity.

That’s not all, as Cena has tried to give back to the community whenever he has gotten a chance and has never shied away from opening up his wallet for charitable purposes.

In June 2020, Cena made an impressive $1 million donation to Black Lives Matter. This was part of the #MatchAMillion initiative made popular by the k-pop band, BTS.

Soon after his donation, Cena made the following comments on Twitter without naming the Black Lives Matter initiative.

“Change is never easy because it takes us admitting that our efforts and methods may be flawed to a point of severe distortion. Be brave and open minded in these moments. Welcome ideas and limit excuses. Change is uncomfortable but can yield much more joy for all in the long run.”

This wasn’t the first time that The Leader of the Cenation donated generously to charity, as his contributions to the Make-A-Wish Foundation and many other charities are well documented.

According to TMZ, Cena was also said to be the man behind an anonymous $40,000 GoFundMe donation to the family of former WWE Superstar Shad Gaspard. Gaspard passed away last year after trying to save his son from drowning.

The donation was made by a donor called "CTC RIP." "CTC" could stand for 'Cryme Tyme Cenation', a tag team comprised of Cena, Gaspard, and JTG.
