Bobby Roode has been around the wrestling business for a long time, which means that he knows what it's like to change his name and be part of some interesting storylines. Throughout his time in NXT, WWE surprisingly allowed him to keep the name that he was known by throughout his time in Impact Wrestling, but earlier this year a change of attitude leads to a change of name for the former Champion.

Bobby Roode debuted a clean-shaven mustache a few weeks after WrestleMania earlier this year and formalized his name to Robert Roode instead. He is now seen as a heel alongside Dolph Ziggler since the duo are former Tag Team Champions. As part of the recent WWE Draft, Ziggler and Roode were moved over to the SmackDown brand and even though they tried to fight for a place in this year's Survivor Series match they will be watching on from the sidelines.
Despite not being given much of a chance to show off this new heel persona, Roode is still known by the name Robert Roode on SmackDown and hopefully following Survivor Series, he will be given the chance to prove his worth.
