The definition of wasted potential

When The Ascension was on NXT, they were unstoppable. They ran roughshod over the roster and big things were expected of the duo when they made their debut on the main roster in December 2014.

However, the transition can be rough for some and The Ascension fell victim to inconsistent booking and a poor understanding of their characters. They ended up as knock-offs of the legendary Demolition tag-team before fading into obscurity.

There was a brief career renaissance when they got involved in the Fashion Files, however, that was short-lived before they returned to their place in the undercard. Konnor and Victor are good wrestlers and deserve much better, so it's a shame to see them struggle in the company to such an extent. Don't be surprised if they ask for their release within the year.
