The only accolade that evades his grasp is becoming the first 17-time WWE World Champion. That will definitely happen before his career over, but once that is done, Cena has no real reason to stick around in the WWE.

Cena transitioned to the role of a part-timer a while ago and the WWE has adjusted to life without Cena. Roman Reigns has been pushed as the face of the company and there is fresh blood in the main event on a regular basis.

Cena comes and goes when his schedule allows him to, but it's no secret that in the due course of time, he will become a full-time actor and will have to bid goodbye to the ring. His 17th world championship win will definitely happen within the next two years and soon after that, Cena will no longer be an active wrestler on the WWE roster.
