#5. Hope is true: Bray Wyatt being backed heavily by John Cena
Bray Wyatt vs John Cena was revealed to be one of the marquee matches for WrestleMania 36 and it put to rest any idea of Wyatt being buried by Goldberg. John Cena has been one of the most selfless top stars in WWE history in their later years and when he said a few weeks ago that it's time for the newer generation to shine, he meant it.
Tom Colohue discussed the clash between John Cena and Bray Wyatt and WrestleMania and revealed that John Cena has vouched for Bray Wyatt for a while:
A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.
I'm excited to see where John Cena fits into this because obviously he has always had Bray Wyatt's back and he's interested in having Bray Wyatt do more things like this, in much of the same way Randy Orton was for a long time. So this is very much Bray's baby, but John Cena has taken it to management on Bray's behalf as much as Bray has.
We hope this is true because it seems all too clear. Cena put over Wyatt in a Triple Threat match in early 2017 but it seems as though he wants to do so again in a singles match.
