Neville is the most technically gifted British superstar WWE have managed to bring on board in their recent past. The man had the agility of a luchador, submission trickery of a grappler, and the cunning psychology of a repugnant heel. However, before WWE could make use of his full potential, Neville, supposedly, walked out of the company.

And, if you are one of those fans who expect some positive updates regarding his contract status, you will only feel disappointed. Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter asserted that Neville's contract status is still frozen. Here is the full transcript (via wrestlingculture.com):

“No updates at all. Neville’s contract is frozen. He has returned to England. I do not mean that he’s wasting his career, it’s a terrible thing to say, but he’s an incredible fighter and it’s a shame he’s not fighting. And I wish he was fighting somewhere. I wish he was happy. I’m sure he can not be happy not to fight. He is too good as a fighter to be happy without a fight . Especially when it’s at its best. “

WWE hasn't confirmed the news yet, and thus it is still a rumor. However, we don't want it to be true and hope that he returns to the squared circle as quickly as possible.
