9 Current female WWE superstars who are surprisingly yet to win a championship

#3. WWE RAW's Ruby Riott

Ruby Riott came to WWE after a stint on the Independent Circuit as Heidi Lovelace. Riott has been seen as one of the best female wrestlers of the current generation, but a shoulder injury sidelined her for the best part of a year and could be one of the main reasons why Riott hasn't held championship gold in WWE just yet.

Riott has also spent almost her entire time on WWE's main roster as part of a tag team with Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan, which means that the Women's Tag Team Champions should have been her main focus but the titles were only introduced last year.

Luckily for Riott, she and Liv Morgan have recently reunited and at the expense of The IIconics on Monday Night RAW, the two women won the chance to challenge the new Women's Tag Team Champions in the coming weeks. Given the fact that the new Champions are Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax makes this a much bigger challenge than it would have been a week ago.

#2. WWE SmackDown's Sonya Deville

Sonya Deville came to WWE through Tough Enough back alongside Mandy Rose and the two women have been the best of friends for five years. That was until earlier this year when Fire and Desire went their separate ways.

Deville was the first female MMA fighter that was signed by WWE, but this is a fact that has been overlooked since the addition of Ronda Rousey, Shayna Baszler, and the Four Horsewomen.

Deville has been able to showcase her skills over the past year, but sadly this was cut short when she was forced to take a break from WWE at SummerSlam, hopefully when Deville makes her return, she's able to lift championship gold for the first time as well.
