Edge went into the chamber as the defending champion and the odds were highly against him as he opened the match with stalwarts like Triple H and The Undertaker locked up in the pod.

However, no one expected him to be eliminated within 3 minutes by Jeff Hardy thanks to an inside cradle. Edge had Hardy set up for the spear before he countered it into a roll-up and gave the fans at Key Arena an unforgettable moment.
