Edge had won the Royal Rumble and declared that he was going to challenge the champion of the blue brand. If you took a look at other opponents in the match, only The Undertaker or Jericho had the chance to win this match. Shawn had begged The Undertaker for a match at WrestleMania which 'The Deadman' refused repeatedly. It was enough of a sign that he would interfere and cost 'The Deadman' his title at the Chamber.

After Undertaker had eliminated Morrison, it was down to Jericho and 'The Phenom' as the final two. Undertaker was very heavy on Jericho and put him through 'The Last Ride.' Edge and Jericho would battle it out for the World Title at WrestleMania 26 where Jericho retained his title. Meanwhile, The Undertaker defeated Shawn Michaels and ended his career in one of the greatest matches ever to take place at the 'Showcase of Immortals.'
