Samantha Irvin recently announced on her social media accounts that she has decided to exit WWE after spending three years in the company. The 35-year-old had a lot of people to thank and also gave a special mention to several names.

In 2021, Samatha Irvin began working as a WWE ring announcer on 205 Live. She eventually moved to NXT, then finally to the main roster, first on SmackDown and then RAW.

Before this week's Monday Night Show, she announced that her time as a ring announcer had ended. She thanked fans, the women's locker room, the crew and cameramen, past and present superstars for inspiring her, and some more notable people who helped shape her career.

In this list, we will look at nine notable people Samantha Irvin thanked while announcing her WWE exit:

#9. #8. & #7. Samantha Irvin thanked two WWE Hall of Famers and a legendary name

Samantha Irvin quickly became a household name and is considered one of the greatest announcers in the company's history due to her unique way of introducing superstars. Although she has a natural talent, several people contributed to it.

In Samantha's letter, she credited WWE Hall of Famers Paul Heyman and Michael PS Hayes, apart from legendary commentator Michael Cole, for invigorating her creativity and helping her in her career. Paul and Cole's contributions may not be surprising for some, as they are notable orators. Meanwhile, many past and current superstars noted that Hayes has played an influential role in their careers.

#6. #5. #4. & #3. Samantha Irvin mentioned several names for helping her succeed

Samantha Irvin may have spent most of her time in WWE ringside, but she was still able to get some moments to let her talents shine, like singing in front of a packed stadium at a PLE. For this, the 35-year-old had several people to thank.

In the same social media post, Samantha thanked WWE Hall of Famer Brian "Road Dogg" James, wrestling referee Scott Armstrong, NXT writer George Caroll Jr., and wrestling booker Gabe Sapolsky, who works with Road Dogg in the creative team.

#2. Triple H was also specially mentioned

It's safe to say that a lot has improved in the company since Triple H replaced Vince McMahon as the creative head. Although there are still issues with some of his booking decisions, many professionals have positive things to say about The Game's regime.

Samantha had a positive experience working under Triple H's leadership, and thanked the WWE Hall of Famer for trusting her and showcasing her in the company.

#1. Mark Henry played a huge role in Samantha Irvin's career

Many wrestling fans may remember Mark Henry as one of the most dominant and strongest wrestlers they have watched. However, he wasn't just a wrestler for several names in the locker room; The World's Strongest Man was responsible for bringing them into the company.

Irvin previously shared how Mark was the one who discovered her. The talented artist initially auditioned at the Performance Center to be a wrestler. Although that didn't work out, she was later hired as a ring announcer. In her letter, Samantha thanked Henry for giving her a "big break" and hoped she had made him ''proud.''
