Scarlett Bordeaux appeared in WWE long before she signed a full contract with the company. Her first appearance came back in June 2014 when she played the role of a Rosebud for Adam Rose. Her first match in WWE came against Nia Jax on the December 26, 2016, episode of WWE RAW where she was squashed by the former RAW Women’s Champion.
Bordeaux became a big name in wrestling outside WWE and signed with several promotions, winning a few titles in the process. She formally signed with WWE in November 2019 and appeared on the April 8 episode of NXT after the match between Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano.

Karrion Kross, known as Killer Kross before signing with WWE, also appeared for the company in a match in 2015 before he formally signed a contract. On February 4, 2020, it was confirmed that Kross had signed with WWE through WWE Backstage.
Vignettes for Kross’s arrival on NXT started airing soon after and he was seen with Bordeaux after the match between Ciampa and Gargano. The following week, Kross debuted, attacking Ciampa during a backstage promo.
The two Superstars are new to WWE and will be featured on NXT together for the time being. They have been in a relationship for some time now, and several outlets have stated that they are now married.
