#5 The Ascension

There's two for the price of one at number three as NXT's longest reigning Tag Team Champions and one of the most dominant forces in NXT history have completely fallen out of favour in WWE.
Whenever the Ascension are in the ring, you can almost guarantee their opposition is going to win, and most likely in super-quick time while, in NXT, the pair destroyed everything in their path, including legendary WWE tag team Too Cool and the Lucha Dragons.

On the main roster, though, the most recent thing of note we've seen from them was the odd cameo in Fashion Files segments.
It hasn't always been like that, though. The Ascension had a great start on the main roster, but it was just that.
The pair fell to nWo's Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and X-Pac, before being laid out by the APA and the New Age Outlaws. While The Ascension got a win over Billy Gunn and Road Dogg, things quickly went downhill for them.
#4 Primo & Epico

Primo and Epico have been in WWE a long time, but they were most recently drafted to Smackdown Live in 2017 and underwent a name change - becoming The Colons rather than their previous name of the Shining Stars.
They had previously been known as Los Matadores, but The Colons looked like a throwback to when they were at their most successful when they were simply named Primo and Epico.
The former Tag Team Champions got off to a flyer on the blue brand with a victory against American Alpha but injuries have hampered any kind of push for the pair. Will they ever be "trusted" by WWE to stay fit and be pushed as the top team they are?
