9-time champion to attack Sami Zayn on WWE SmackDown? It's not The Bloodline!

Sami Zayn can be expected on WWE SmackDown after what went down at Crown Jewel 2024. The former Intercontinental Champion will work a segment with Jey Uso on WWE RAW, but the former Bloodline members may meet again on the blue show where 'Honorary Uce' Zayn comes face-to-face with Roman Reigns.

On SmackDown, Zayn will need to watch his back. Not only will he need to be aware of Solo Sikoa and the other Bloodline members, but he will also need to be aware of Kevin Owens! The Prizefighter is on a rampage and has attacked Cody Rhodes at Bad Blood and brutalized Randy Orton at Crown Jewel. It started when The American Nightmare formed a tag team with The OTC, leading Owens to believe the Undisputed WWE Champion turned his back on him.

Now, Sami Zayn is one of his closest friends. Even though they are on different brands, fans are hopeful that someday they might reunite. Well, when Zayn comes to SmackDown to speak to The OTC and possibly become one of Reigns' allies, Kevin Owens will definitely not take that kindly! The Prizefighter will hunt down his former tag team partner and possibly injure him for doing exactly what Cody Rhodes did!

There is no telling how far Owens is willing to go, but he doesn't seem to be slowing down at all. Even if others are moving past what Roman Reigns did during his time as champion and as The Bloodline's leader, The Prizefighter is not willing to do the same.

Not every WWE fan was thrilled to see that Sami Zayn was returning to the Bloodline story. Following Crown Jewel, several fans took to social media to voice their displeasure about the possibility.

However, it is important to note that Zayn played the role of 'Honorary Uce' in the storyline and was the only man Roman Reigns trusted who wasn't family. Furthermore, he was the first one to betray The OTC, leading to the beginning of The Bloodline's downfall.

Now that The OTC is working as a babyface, his reunion with Zayn and mending the cracks in their relationship is key to The OG Bloodline winning at Survivor Series. Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Zayn need to work in perfect harmony if they want to defeat the current Bloodline.
