#8 First women's match in Saudi Arabia

This could spark change.
This could spark change.

WrestleMania 35 was not the only significant history-making moment in 2019 for WWE's women. WWE attempted to get a match sanctioned at earlier Saudi shows, but to no avail. In 2019, that mission was accomplished. Crown Jewel saw the first-ever all-female wrestling match to take place in Saudi Arabia.

Natalya and Lacey Evans received the honor of bringing some hope of change in terms of how women are perceived in the country. One solitary wrestling match may seem like a small step, but it was really a giant leap in history.

#7 First female Triple Crown Champion

Bayley will always be the first.
Bayley will always be the first.

Sticking with the women, WWE was able to enforce a brand new way of becoming a Triple Crown Champion thanks to the introduction of the Women's Tag Team Championships. The achievement would include winning the RAW and SmackDown Women's Championships, as well as the Tag Titles.

At Money in the Bank this year, Bayley became the first female Triple Crown Champion after cashing in her briefcase on Charlotte Flair. She was one-half of the inaugural Women's Tag Team Champions and carried the Red Brand's belt into WrestleMania in 2017.
