#4 First Superstar to win the WWE Championship twice on SmackDown

'The Beast'.
'The Beast'

Kofi Kingston's WWE Championship run came to a crashing halt on the Friday Night SmackDown premiere on FOX. Brock Lesnar, wrestling his first network TV match in 15 years, defeated Kofi in 9 seconds to pick up his fifth WWE Title. It was also the second time he did so on the Blue Brand.

Back in 2003, Lesnar defeated Kurt Angle on SmackDown in a spectacular 60-minute Iron Man match to capture the WWE Championship. Surprisingly, no other Superstar has won the title on SmackDown more than once, making 'The Beast' the first to do so.

#3 First Superstar to win the same world title at WrestleMania & SummerSlam in the same year

He did it twice.
He did it twice.

Brock Lesnar's win on SmackDown was not the first time he held gold in 2019. He was the Universal Champion heading into both WrestleMania and SummerSlam. On both occasions, he was challenged by Seth Rollins and on both occasions, Rollins won the title. The style of both victories was contrasting, but they were both satisfying.

Both victories were feel-good moments, likely the peak of both of Rollins' Universal title reigns. His victory in the main event of SummerSlam made him the only Superstar to win the same World Title at the two biggest events of the year. To top it all off, Rollins achieved this feat by beating the same man both times.
