#7 Aleister Black to possibly miss NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn

Aleister Black is one of the most intimidating superstars in the NXT locker room right now. After losing the NXT Championship to Tomasso Ciampa on the July 25 episode of NXT, he took out Johnny Gargano at the subsequent episode. And, going by the spoilers, he would face Johnny Gargano and Tomasso Ciampa in a triple threat match for the NXT Championship at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV.

However, according to the recent reports, he might be injured. According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter (H/T: Uproxx.com), he was injured after Ciampa crotched him during a live event in Las Vegas. Black is anticipated to be okay after he undergoes surgery, but there is no news as to when he would return. He further speculated that rehabilitating before two weeks “would at least on paper seem awfully quick.”

WWE hasn't given any official statement regarding Black's supposed injury. We hope that his injury isn't grave enough to miss the TakeOver pay-per-view.
