#4 Hiromu Takahashi to be out of action for 9-12 months
Hiromu Takahashi is one of the best Junior Heavyweights of the New Japan roster and an important member of the Los Ingobernables de Japon faction. The high-flying action and in-ring artistry of the 28-year-old are unparalleled with most of the junior heavyweights. However, he suffered a grave injury in the hands of Dragon Lee at the recent G1 Special in San Francisco.

Takahashi landed straight on his head after Dragon Lee botched a Phoenix Plex. While Dave Meltzer asserted that he didn't suffer any nerve damage, the recent update suggests that he might be out for a minimum of nine months. According to whatculture.com, the company sources reckon that the Ticking Time Bomb will require a minimum of six months rest before beginning his athletic training. Furthermore, he would have to wait for three to six months more before being cleared to wrestle again.
If the company confirms this rumor, it would be bad news for the NJPW fans. Takahashi had just won the Junior IWGP Heavyweight Title from Will Ospreay at Dominion 6.9 in Osaka-Jo Hall, and his absence would be a huge loss for the company.
