Much like John Cena’s kick-out at No Mercy 2017, Bray Wyatt’s kick-out from Roman Reigns’ spear at Hell in a Cell 2015 did not come immediately after The Big Dog hit the move.

With both men on the ring apron, Roman Reigns speared Wyatt through a table between the edge of the ring and the Hell in a Cell structure.

Roman Reigns eventually pinned Wyatt once both men were back inside the ring – over a minute after the spear happened – but The Eater of Worlds kicked out after the two-count.

Following his one-year spell with The Wyatt Family, Braun Strowman cemented his status as one of WWE’s next top singles competitors during his 2017 rivalry with The Big Show and his 2017-18 storyline with Roman Reigns.

The Monster Among Men kicked out of Roman Reigns’ spear in singles matches at Fastlane 2017, Payback 2017 and Hell in a Cell 2018, while he also survived the move on one occasion in the seven-man match at Elimination Chamber 2018.
